Andrew Sentance
Andrew Sentance CBE (born 1958) is a British business economist. He is currently Senior Adviser to Cambridge Econometrics. From November 2011 until October 2018, he was Senior Economic Adviser to PwC. He was an external member of the Monetary Policy Committee of the Bank of England from October 2006 to May 2011. Education Sentance was born in Bebington on the Wirral and grew up in south-east London. He was educated at Eltham College, Clare College, Cambridge, and the London School of Economics. At Eltham College, he studied economics, mathematics and history at A Level, and at Clare College gained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with honours (2.1) in economics, graduating in 1980. Commander Of The Order Of The British Empire
The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire is a British order of chivalry, rewarding contributions to the arts and sciences, work with charitable and welfare organisations, and public service outside the civil service. It was established on 4 June 1917 by King George V and comprises five classes across both civil and military divisions, the most senior two of which make the recipient either a knight if male or dame if female. There is also the related British Empire Medal, whose recipients are affiliated with, but not members of, the order.
