Andrew Poturalski
Andrew Poturalski (born January 14, 1994) is an American professional ice hockey center currently playing with the Coachella Valley Firebirds in the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the Seattle Kraken of the National Hockey League (NHL). He is a two time winner of the American Hockey League (AHL) Calder Cup in 2019 and 2022. He is also a two-time AHL Point scoring Title winner having won the award consecutively in 2020–21 and 2021–22. Early life Poturalski was born on January 14, 1994, in Williamsville, New York to parents Joseph and Diane. His mother formerly played softball at Iowa and Erie Community College while his father is a football officiator. The Chicago Wolves are a professional ice hockey team playing in the American Hockey League and are the top minor-league affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League. Peter Scamurra
Peter Vincent Scamurra (born February 23, 1955) is an American-born former professional ice hockey defenseman. He played 132 games in the National Hockey League with the Washington Capitals from 1975 to 1979. He was drafted 19th overall in 1975 by the Capitals and 50th overall by the Cleveland Crusaders of the World Hockey Association. Hobey Baker Award
The Hobey Baker Award is an annual award given to the top National Collegiate Athletic Association men's ice hockey player. It has been awarded 41 times. It is named for Hall of Famer Hobey Baker, who played college hockey at Princeton University and died shortly after World War I. The original statue for the award was commissioned and awarded by the Decathlon Athletic Club (now defunct) in Bloomington, Minnesota. The model for the award trophy was Steve Christoff, who played for the University of Minnesota and in the National Hockey League. Indiana Ice
The Indiana Ice was a Tier I junior ice hockey team and member club of the United States Hockey League (USHL) that was formed in 2004 when the Danville Wings were purchased and moved from their location in Danville, Illinois, to Indianapolis, Indiana. The Ice captured the regular season division titles in the 2007–08 and 2013–14 seasons and won the 2009 and 2014 Clark Cup titles. Before the 2012–13 season, the Ice played their home games at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum. The United States Hockey League (USHL) is the top junior ice hockey league sanctioned by USA Hockey. The league consists of 16 active teams located in the midwestern United States, for players between the ages of 16 and 21. The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders are a Tier I junior ice hockey team playing in the United States Hockey League (USHL). Before moving to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in 1999, the team was based in Mason City, where they were known as the North Iowa Huskies. The New Hampshire Wildcats men's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents the University of New Hampshire.
