Andrew P. Kealy
Andrew P. Kealy was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly. Biography Kealy was born on January 29, 1861, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He moved with his parents to Pleasant Valley, St. Croix County, Wisconsin, in 1870. In 1891, he bought a farm in Hammond (town), Wisconsin. Kealy died in 1917. Political career Kealy was elected to the assembly in 1910. Additionally, he was a supervisor of Pleasant Valley, chairman of the board of supervisors of Hammond, chairman of the county board and Sheriff of St. Croix County, Wisconsin, and mayor of Hudson, Wisconsin. Wisconsin State Assembly
The Wisconsin State Assembly is the lower house of the Wisconsin Legislature. Together with the smaller Wisconsin Senate, the two constitute the legislative branch of the U.S. state of Wisconsin. Representatives are elected for two-year terms, elected during the fall elections. If a vacancy occurs in an Assembly seat between elections, it may be filled only by a special election. The Wisconsin Constitution limits the size of the State Assembly to between 54 and 100 members inclusive. Since 1973, the state has been divided into 99 Assembly districts apportioned amongst the state based on population as determined by the decennial census, for a total of 99 representatives. Hammond is a town in St. Croix County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 947 at the 2000 census. The Village of Hammond is located within the town. Hudson is a city in St. Croix County, Wisconsin, United States. As of the 2010 United States census, its population was 12,719. It is part of the Minneapolis–St. Paul Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). The village of North Hudson is directly north of Hudson. History Hudson was settled in 1840 by Louis Massey and his brother in-law, Peter Bouchea. William Streets arrived at about the same time. John Sweet Donald (January 12, 1869 – January 10, 1934) was a politician and dentist from the U.S. state of Wisconsin. Biography Born on a farm near Mount Vernon, Wisconsin in the town of Springdale, Dane County, Wisconsin, Donald graduated from Northwestern Business College in 1887, in Madison, Wisconsin.
