Andrew Nerpin
Andrew Nerpin (born November 17, 1986, in Marathon, Ontario) is a Canadian curler from Kelowna, British Columbia. He currently plays second on Team Kyler Kleibrink. Career In 2017, Nerpin joined Sean Geall's team as a second, supporting Geall, Jeff Richard and David Harper. The team won the September 2017 King Cash Spiel. In 2018, Team Geall won the provincial championship, defeating Jim Cotter in the final in an extra end. Marathon, Ontario
Marathon is a town in the Canadian province of Ontario, located in Thunder Bay District, on the north shore of Lake Superior north of Pukaskwa National Park, in the heart of the Canadian Shield. Geography Personal residences encompass an area starting from Lake Superior, and stretch out to a new subdivision near Penn Lake, an in-town campsite and beach in the eastern portion of the town. The Pic River is outside of the town's eastern limits. The town is adjacent to Peninsula Harbour and has several coves including Carden Cove, Sturdee Cove and Craddock Cove; all three are west-northwest of Marathon. Penn Lake is a local lake within the town where tourists can enjoy camping and water sports. Heron Bay is a town located to the south of Marathon, and shares the post office and phone prefix. Sean Geall
Sean Geall ( ); (born January 29, 1975 in Surrey, British Columbia) is a Canadian curler from Tappen, British Columbia. Curling career To date, Geall has two provincial championships to his credit, and thus two Brier appearances. Geall and his Royal City Curling Club rink of Brent Pierce, Kevin Recksiedler and Mark Olson won the 2009 Canadian Direct Insurance BC Men's Provincials by defeating Jay Peachey 8-7 in the final. This qualified the team to represent British Columbia at the 2009 Tim Hortons Brier. At the Brier, Geall's team finished the round robin with a 6-5 record, missing the playoffs. Geall would play with the same team for the following season, but formed a new rink in 2010 with Grant Dezura, Scott Meechan and Kevin MacKenzie. Geall formed a new rink once again in 2011 with Ken Maskiewich, Bill Fisher and bringing Olson back at lead. Jim Cotter (curler)
James H. Cotter (born October 15, 1974 in Kamloops, British Columbia) is a Canadian curler from Vernon, British Columbia. Career Cotter grew up in Kamloops, playing both curling and baseball as a youth. As a high school student, he won three provincial high school championships (1990, 1991, 1993). He won two provincial junior crowns, in 1990 and in 1995. At the 1990 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, he skipped the B.C. team to a 6-5 round robin record. This put them in a five-way tie for third place. They would be eliminated from the playoffs however, when they lost their first tie-breaker match to Nova Scotia's Brian Fowlie. Five years later in his last year of eligibility, Cotter was back, skipping the B.C. team at the 1995 Canadian Junior Curling Championships. This time, he would finish with a better, 7-4 record, but it was only good enough for fourth place, and they missed the playoffs.
