Andrew Young McLean
Andrew Young McLean (June 24, 1909 – August 14, 1988) was a Canadian newspaper publisher and political figure in Ontario. He represented Huron—Perth in the House of Commons of Canada as a Liberal member from 1949 to 1953. He was born in Seaforth, Ontario, the son of Keith M. McLean and the grandson of Murdo Young McLean, and attended the School of Architecture at the University of Toronto. In 1934, he was named a justice of the peace for Huron County. McLean served as a squadron leader in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II. He became editor and publisher of the ''Huron Expositor'' after his father's death in 1948. He was a member of the Canadian delegation to the United Nations in 1952. McLean was an unsuccessful candidate for the Huron seat in the House of Commons in 1953 and 1957. Andrew McLean (American Politician)
Andrew McLean (born September 28, 1985) is an American politician from New Hampshire. McLean, a Democrat, was elected to the Maine House of Representatives in 2012 and served four terms. He represented the 27th House District, which includes part of Gorham. Shortly before becoming term-limited in 2020, McLean resigned his seat in August 2020 after completing his Juris Doctor degree at University of Maine School of Law to take a position as a law clerk for the York County Superior Court in Maine. He is openly gay. He was one of six openly gay members of the Maine Legislature, alongside Sen. Justin Chenette (D– Saco) and Reps. Matt Moonen (D–Portland), Ryan Fecteau (D–Biddeford), Lois Galgay Reckitt (D– South Portland) and Craig Hickman (D– Winthrop). Andrew McLean (born 18 July 1973) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for St Kilda in the Australian Football League (AFL) in 1996. He was recruited from the North Launceston Football Club in the Tasmanian Football League (TFL) with the 6th selection in the 1996 Pre-season Draft. Andrew McLean (born 20 July 1969) is a former professional tennis player from Australia. Biography McLean, who grew up in Victoria, made two appearances in the main draw of the Australian Open. At the 1989 Australian Open he teamed up with regular doubles partner Andrew Florent as a wildcard pairing in the men's doubles. ''Head Lopper'' is a comic book series created by writer and artist Andrew MacLean, currently published by Image Comics. The story follows the exploits of the Viking warrior Norgal (or "head lopper", as some call him) and the severed head of Agatha the Blue Witch. Publishing history ''Head Lopper'' originally began as a self-published project by comics creator Andrew MacLean. In 2015 it was picked up for a four-issue miniseries. The character originated from a piece for Brand New Nostalgia. The theme of the week had been Vikings, and a bearded warrior with a witch's head skewered on his sword was the result. Self-published issues ''Head Lopper'' #1 debuted at Heroes Con 2013. The first issue was a small print run and thus costly to produce.
