Andrew Lewis (December 14, 1970 – May 4, 2015) was a Guyanese professional boxer in the Middleweight division and the WBA World Welterweight Champion. He also competed in the men's welterweight event at the 1992 Summer Olympics. Personal life On June 5, 2007 his uncle Abdel Nur surrendered in Trinidad as a suspect in the John F. Andrew Lewis (October 9, 1720 – September 26, 1781) was an Irish-born American pioneer, Surveying, surveyor, military officer and politician in Colonial Virginia and during the American Revolutionary War. A colonel of militia during the French and Indian War, and Brigadier general (United States), brigadier general in the American Revolutionary War, his most famous victory was the Battle of Point Pleasant in Dunmore's War in 1774, although he also drove Lord Dunmore's forces from Norfolk, Virginia, Norfolk and Gwynn's Island in 1776. Admiral Sir Andrew MacKenzie Lewis KCB JP (24 January 1918 – 8 November 1993) was Commander-in-Chief Naval Home Command. Naval career Lewis joined the Royal Navy and fought in World War II being mentioned in despatches for his service in HMS ''Ashanti''. He was appointed Director-General, Weapons (Naval) at the Ministry of Defence in 1965 and Flag Officer, Flotillas for the Western Fleet in 1968. He went on to be Second Sea Lord and Chief of Naval Personnel in 1970 and Commander-in-Chief Naval Home Command in 1972; he retired in 1974. In retirement he became Chairman of the Essex Water Company, later Essex and Suffolk Water Company. Between 1976 and 1977 he was Chairman of the Royal Navy Club of 1765 & 1785 (United 1889). Andrew Leighton Paul Lewis (born 13 June 1973) is a former Welsh international rugby union player who went to school at Christ College, Brecon. Lewis made 29 appearances for the national team, and spent his entire club playing career at Cardiff, firstly at Cardiff RFC and then at Cardiff Blues following the introduction of regional rugby in Wales. Lewis joined the Cardiff RFC team in 1992. He was first called up to the Wales national team in August 1995 as part of the squad for Wales' tour of South Africa. His début for Wales came in 1996 against Italy. He played his initial games for Wales as prop, but at the instigation of Wales coach Graham Henry, switched to the position of hooker.
