Andrew Jack (born Andrew Duncan Hutchinson; 28 January 1944 – 31 March 2020) was a British dialect coach and actor from London who had worked on over 80 motion pictures since 1982. Early life His father Stephen Jack was an actor in films, radio and television. Career He had worked with over 200 actors including Robert Downey Jr. (in Richard Attenborough's ''Chaplin'', Michael Hoffman's ''Restoration'' and Guy Ritchie's ''Sherlock Holmes''), Pierce Brosnan (in ''GoldenEye'', ''Tomorrow Never Dies'' and ''Die Another Day''), Cate Blanchett, and Viggo Mortensen. As supervising dialect coach for ''The Lord of the Rings'', he created the Middle-earth accents and taught them, along with Elvish and Black Speech, to the cast of the trilogy. He designed and taught the accents for the Greeks and Trojans in Wolfgang Petersen's ''Troy''. He taught Evan Davis to speak with a Nottinghamshire twang. Andrew Jack (censor)
Dr Andrew Robert Jack (age ) is the former Chief Censor of New Zealand. He held the position from March 2011 to March 2017. Jack grew up in Howick, Auckland. His mother was a radiographer; his father was a school teacher who had emigrated from Northern Ireland. He has earned at least five degrees, including a PhD in law (supervised by Bill Hastings), a master's degree in public policy, and degrees in ancient history and classical Greek. He also holds qualifications in teaching English as a second language, quantity surveying, and diamond grading. Prior to becoming Chief Censor, Jack had been group manager of the legal and advisory services at New Zealand Customs Service and chief legal advisor for the New Zealand Police. His work during his time as chief censor included the Classification Office banning objectionable slogans and artwork on Wicked campervans. Andrew Keith Jack
Andrew Keith Jack (also known as Keith Jack) (9 September 1885 – 26 September 1966) was an Australian physicist who served as a member of the Ross Sea Party as part of Ernest Shackleton's Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition. Keith Jack was educated at the University of Melbourne, graduating with an MSc in 1914. A year later he joined the Shackleton expedition, where along with other members of the crew, he became stranded for 2 years in Antarctic after the loss of the ship Aurora. During this time he kept a regular diary across five volumes. Keith was rescued along with six other survivors in 1917. Keith also took many photographs during the expedition, some of which were later hand-coloured as lantern slides.
