Suddie
Suddie is a community in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana, located on the Atlantic Ocean, one mile north of Onderneeming. Suddie Hospital is a small (approximately 100-bed) hospital. Rural outreach clinics are sent into the interior and along the Essequibo River from Suddie Hospital. Suddie also has a market. A High Court was opened in 2005. Berbice Cricket Board The Berbice cricket team played first class cricket in the Guystac Trophy and against the occasional touring team during the 20th century. The team came from the Dutch colony of Berbice, which is now a county of Guyana. They played their inaugural first class match in March 1960 against the touring Marylebone Cricket Club from England. Berbice were captained by Joe Solomon who opened the batting and scored 201 not out which remained his highest first class score. The 2001–02 Red Stripe Bowl was the 28th season of what is now the Regional Super50, the domestic limited-overs cricket competition for the countries of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB). It ran from 2 to 14 October 2001, with matches played in Guyana and Jamaica. Eight teams contested the competition, four of which were competing for the first time. The two finalists from the previous season, the Leeward and Windward Islands, were each broken up into two teams. From the Leewards, Antigua and Barbuda entered separately, with players from the remaining countries competing for a "Rest of Leeward Islands" team. The Windwards team was split geographically, with players from Dominica and Saint Lucia competing for a "Northern Windward Islands" team and players from Grenada and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines competing for a "Southern Windward Islands" team. The 2000–01 Busta Cup was the 35th edition of what is now the Regional Four Day Competition, the domestic first-class cricket competition for the countries of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB). It was played from 4 January to 19 February 2001. Eight teams contested the competition, which was played as a round-robin. The six regular teams of West Indian domestic cricket (Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, the Leeward Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Windward Islands) were joined by a development team ( West Indies B) and an invited overseas team ( England A). Barbados and Guyana finished equal on points, but Barbados topped the table by winning more matches, claiming a 17th domestic first-class title. Bermuda National Cricket Team
The Bermuda national cricket team represents the British overseas territory of Bermuda in international cricket. The team is organised by the Bermuda Cricket Board (BCB), which became an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 1966. A Bermudian national team was first organised in 1891, when a tour of New York City arranged. In the years before World War I, Bermuda and American teams (including the Philadelphians) frequently exchanged tours, although it was not until 1912, when Australia toured, that the national team played a full international. After the 1920s, the focus of Bermudian cricket moved away from the United States towards the countries of the West Indies, although frequent tours from West Indian teams began only in the 1950s. Leeward Islands Cricket Team
The Leeward Islands cricket team is a first class cricket team representing the member countries of the Leeward Islands Cricket Association, an associate of the West Indies Cricket Board. Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Kitts, Nevis, Anguilla, Montserrat, British Virgin Islands, US Virgin Islands and Sint Maarten are members of the Leeward Islands Cricket Association.
