Andrew Lee Evans (born Wilfred Andrew Lever Evans) OAM (born 17 June 1935, in India) is a Pentecostal Christian pastor in the Assemblies of God and a former politician in the South Australian Legislative Council. Evans is most notable as pastor of the then Paradise Community Church (now Influencers Church) for 30 years and co-founding the conservative Family First Party. Early life and education Andrew L. Evans was born to missionary parents Tom and Stella Evans in India, and is the older brother of pastor Fred Evans. From 1958 to 1960, Evans studied for Christian Ministry at the Assemblies of God Commonwealth Bible College in Brisbane (now known as Alphacrucis in Parramatta, Sydney). He graduated with a Diploma in Theology in December 1960 and was ordained to the Ministry in 1963. Andy Evans (born June 27, 1951) is an American auto racing driver and team owner. As a driver, he won the 1995 and 1997 12 Hours of Sebring. He owned Scandia, an IndyCar and IMSA team. In 1996, Evans and Roberto Muller bought the International Motor Sports Association, and changed its name to Professional Sports Car Racing (PSCR). He also bought controlling interests in the Sebring International Raceway and Mosport Park. Evans sold those assets to Don Panoz in 2001. Before his racing career Evans worked in the securities industry during the 1980s, but SEC rule violations and a conviction for bank fraud resulted in a ban from the industry. David Andrew Evans (born 25 November 1975) is a Welsh manager and former professional footballer who is currently first team manager of Llanidloes Town A trainee with Cardiff City, where he won a Welsh Under-21 cap, before drifting through Merthyr Tydfil and Ebbw Vale to Aberystwyth and a job as a postman. At Park Avenue he immediately attracted the interest of First Division Barnsley and a £15,000 transfer fee. Andrew Evans is an American travel writer, author and television host. Early life and education Evans was born in Texas and raised in Ohio. He began traveling internationally at the age of 16 when he moved to France on a Rotary Youth Exchange, and later to the Ukraine as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Evans was raised as a Mormon, but had struggles with expressing his gay identity at Brigham Young University. In an article for Outsports, Evans discussed the compulsory year of conversion therapy and "traumatic moments" BYU made him undergo in the late 90s as a student after he was caught kissing a man by his roommate. Andrew Evans (born October 22, 1988) is a Canadian pair skater. With Carolyn MacCuish, he placed 8th at the 2007 World Junior Championships. Personal life Evans was born on October 22, 1988, in Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada. He studied nanotech engineering at the University of Waterloo. Career Evans originally competed as a single skater. He decided to concentrate on pairs after not making it to the Canadian nationals as a single skater. He teamed up with Carolyn MacCuish in March 2004. MacCuish/Evans initially trained at the Canadian Ice Academy in Etobicoke, coached by Kim Hanford. Following their coach's retirement in March 2006, they moved to the Mariposa School of Skating in Barrie, where they were coached by Lee Barkell with assistance from Shane Dennison and Jacinthe Larivière.
