Andrew Davey
Andrew Davey (born 29 November 1991) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who plays as a forward for the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs in the NRL. He previously played for the Parramatta Eels and Manly Sea Eagles in the National Rugby League. Background Born in Maryborough, Queensland, Davey played his junior rugby league for the Emerald Cowboys. Playing career In 2016, Davey joined the Mackay Cutters in the Queensland Cup on a train-and-trial deal, later earning a full-time contract with the club. That season, he won the club's Rookie of the Year award. In 2017, he co-captained the Cutters alongside Setaimata Sa. In 2018, Davey signed with the Townsville Blackhawks. In 2019, Davey joined the Parramatta Eels NRL squad. Wests Tigers
The Wests Tigers are an Australian professional Rugby league, rugby league football team, based in the Inner West and South West Sydney. They have competed in the National Rugby League since being formed at the end of the 1999 NRL season as a joint-venture club between the Balmain Tigers and the Western Suburbs Magpies. The Wests Tigers started playing in the 2000 NRL season and they won their maiden premiership in 2005 NRL season, 2005. The 2022 NRL season is the 115th season of professional rugby league in Australia and the 25th season run by the National Rugby League. Teams The lineup of teams remained unchanged for the 16th consecutive year. This became the second longest stretch of time (after 1947-1966 - 20 seasons) of a continuous line-up of teams in competition history (overtaking 1967-1981 - 15 seasons). Pre-season Pre-season matches were played between 12 February and 28 February 2022, before a 10-day lead up until the beginning of the regular season. It featured nineteen matches across three weekends, including the 2022 All Stars match, which was won by the Māori All Stars 16 – 10, and the annual Charity Shield match between the South Sydney Rabbitohs and St George Illawarra Dragons, which the Dragons won 16–10.
