Andrew Chandler (golfer)
Andrew Haydn "Chubby" Chandler (born 1953) is an English retired professional golfer (European Tour) and current managing director of the Cheshire-based sports management firm International Sports Management (ISM). Golf career Chandler is of Turkish descent. As an amateur, he won the British Youths Open Amateur Championship in 1972 and turned professional in 1974. His first European Tour tournament was that year's Italian Open, which was also the tour debut of Seve Ballesteros. He spent the following 15 years playing on the Tour, with his best season in 1986 when he finished 44th on the Order of Merit; he also had his best result in that season with a third place in the Italian Open. Despite never winning on Tour, he did have one professional victory, at the 1985 São Paulo International. However, after another slump in form, he retired from the professional game in 1989. PGA European Tour
The European Tour (currently known as the DP World Tour for sponsorship reasons), legally the PGA European Tour is the leading men's professional golf tour in Europe. The organisation also operates the European Senior Tour (for players aged fifty or older) and the developmental Challenge Tour; the second tier of men’s professional golf in Europe. The tour's headquarters are at the Wentworth Club in Virginia Water, Surrey, England. Neil Fairbrother
Neil Fairbrother (born Neil Harvey Fairbrother; 9 September 1963) is an English former cricketer who played 75 One Day International matches and 10 Test matches as a batsman for England. Fairbrother, named by his mother after her favourite player, the Australian cricketer Neil Harvey, was educated at Lymm Grammar School and played his county cricket for Lancashire. Although primarily a one day player at international level, he had strong success in the County Championship and had a first class high score of 366. Fairbrother retired from all cricket in 2002, and became Director of Cricket at International Sports Management. He was also a player manager for a time, managing among others Andrew Flintoff. 2010 Players Championship
The 2010 Players Championship was a golf tournament in Florida on the PGA Tour, held at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, southeast of Jacksonville. It was the 37th Players Championship. Tim Clark won with a 67 on Sunday for his first PGA Tour victory, one stroke ahead of Robert Allenby. Two unusual events occurred during this Players Championship. For the first time in tournament history, a spectator was arrested and forcibly removed from the course. An intoxicated fan who was screaming and being disruptive refused to listen to course officials, who then called deputies. The man resisted arrest and was tasered. In a separate incident, hours after the first round had ended a car was discovered parked on the 8th green with two occupants inside and the motor running. Charl Adriaan Schwartzel ( ; born 31 August 1984) is a South African professional golfer who currently plays in the LIV Golf Invitational Series and has previously played on the PGA Tour, European Tour and the Sunshine Tour.
