Andrew Carignan
Gary Andrew Carignan (born July 23, 1986) is a former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball for the Oakland Athletics. Amateur career Born in New London, Connecticut, Carignan attended high school at Norwich Free Academy where he played with Eric Campbell and was named Connecticut's top baseball player in 2003 after leading the team to a state championship. He played college baseball for the University of North Carolina Tar Heels. In 2005 and 2006, he played collegiate summer baseball in the Cape Cod Baseball League for the Bourne Braves, and was named an all-star in 2006. He was selected by the Oakland Athletics in the 5th round of the 2007 MLB Draft. Bourne Braves
The Bourne Braves are a collegiate summer baseball team based in Bourne, Massachusetts. The team is a member of the Cape Cod Baseball League (CCBL) and plays in the league's West Division. The Braves play their home games at Doran Park on the campus of Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical School in Bourne. The Braves are owned and operated by the non-profit Bourne Athletic Association. Bourne won its second CCBL championship of the modern era in 2022 by defeating the Brewster Whitecaps two games to none to win the best of three championship series. The Atlantic League of Professional Baseball (ALPB) is a professional independent baseball league based in the United States. It is an official MLB Partner League based in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern United States. The Atlantic League's corporate headquarters is located at Clipper Magazine Stadium in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Covelli Loyce "Coco" Crisp (born November 1, 1979) is an American former professional baseball outfielder and MiLB team manager.
