Andrew Berry (biologist)
Andrew Berry (born 1963) is a British evolutionary biologist and historian of science with a particular interest in Alfred Russel Wallace. Previously, he was a Junior Fellow at the Harvard Society of Fellows and he is currently a lecturer in Organismic and Evolutionary Biology at Harvard University. Jidion Adams , (born December 12, 2000) better known online as JiDion, is an American YouTuber and former Twitch streamer known for his comedic vlogging content and prank videos. Early Life JiDion Adams was born in Houston, Texas in 2000. Career YouTube Adams first started his YouTube channel in 2018 with a video of him attempting to resell various items at his high school. His first viral video came around in early 2019 with the video “Giving Strangers The N-Word PASS”. In his comedic videos, Adams uses the pseudonym “DeMarcus Cousins III”, when being asked by strangers what his name is or when giving his name out to people. This fake name comes from NBA player DeMarcus Cousins. In December 2021, Adams attempted to get an autograph from the real DeMarcus Cousins, which prompted a stadium security guard to try and halt the interaction. A YouTuber is an online personality and/or influencer who produces videos on the video-sharing platform YouTube, typically posting to their personal YouTube channel. The term was first used in the English language in 2006. Influence Influential YouTubers are frequently described as microcelebrities. Since YouTube is widely conceived as a bottom-up social media video platform, microcelebrities do not appear to be involved with the established and commercial system of celebrity culture, but rather appear self-governed and independent. Naomi Pierce
Naomi E. Pierce (born 1954) is the Hessel Professor of Biology at Harvard University and a world authority on butterflies. Pierce is the university's Curator of Lepidoptera, a position once held by Vladimir Nabokov. Pierce was a Fulbright Postdoctoral Fellow in Zoology from Harvard university to Griffith University in 1983, and a MacArthur Fellow in 1988 with Ecology and Evolutionary/Environmental Biology as area of focus. Pierce studies the relationship between butterfly larvae and ants, as well as the genetic trends within the species, in order to understand the process of evolution. Pierce and collaborators Corrie Moreau and Charles D.
