Andrejs Gražulis
Andrejs Gražulis (born 21 July 1993) is a professional Latvian basketball player for Dolomiti Energia Trento of the Italian Lega Basket Serie A (LBA). Early career Andrejs Gražulis started playing organized basketball at age of 16. In 2009, Gražulis was discovered as a basketball player during open try-outs held by BK Ventspils during time when he was in high-school and his primary sport was athletics. He joined Ventspils youth academy and later started playing for its main team. Professional career On July 14, 2017, Gražulis signed with Parma Basket of the VTB United League for the 2017–18 season. He spent the 2019-20 season with Derthona where he averaged 16.8 points and 8.3 rebounds in Serie A2. Gražulis signed with Allianz Trieste on June 19, 2020. He averaged 8.3 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. On July 3, 2021, Gražulis re-signed with the team. The power forward (PF), also known as the four or strong forward, is a position in basketball. Power forwards play a role similar to centers. When on offense, they typically play with their backs towards the basket. When on defense, they typically position themselves under the basket in a zone defense or against the opposing power forward in man-to-man defense. VTB United League
VTB United League (russian: Единая Лига ВТБ) is an international professional men's club basketball list of basketball leagues, league that was founded in 2008. It is made up of mostly Russian clubs, along with one each from Belarus and Kazakhstan. Since VTB United League 2013–14, 2013, it is the Russian basketball league system, first tier of Russian professional club basketball. The Latvia men's national basketball team ( lv, Latvijas basketbola izlase) represents Latvia in international basketball. They are organized and run by the Latvian Basketball Association. Latvia has reached the European Basketball Championship 15 times, with their ultimate success occurring during the inter-war period, when they became the first team to win the tournament in 1935.
