Andrej Themár (born June 28, 1988) is a Slovak professional ice hockey left winger. He is currently a free agent having last played for TH Unia Oświęcim of the Polska Hokej Liga. HK Martin is a professional ice hockey team playing in the second highest league ( Slovak 1. Liga) in Slovakia. History The club was established in 1932 as Slávia Martin. Later the name was changed to Sokol, ŠK, ZŤS, Hutník, Martimex ZŤS, Martimex and MHC Martin (2000–2010). The Slávia, Sokol, ŠK (Športový klub - Sport Club), TJ (Telovýchovná jednota - bodybuilding unity) names are common names meaning sport organisation in Slovakia or Czechoslovakia. The names Hutnik, ZŤS and Martimex are connected to heavy industry companies, a major employer in the region from the 1930s to the 1990s, which was a general sponsors. GKS Katowice (; GKS stands for , ) is a Polish professional football (soccer), football club based in Katowice. The club currently plays in the I liga (as of 2022–23). History In 1963 in Katowice a special organizational committee was called with the purpose of uniting all the clubs and sporting organizations of the city into one large club which would encompass many disciplines.
