Andrei Fyodorovich Kazusenok ( be, Андрей Фёдорович Казусенок, born 15 January 1984) is a Belarusian judoka and sambist. At the 2008 Summer Olympics he was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the 90 kg competition after losing his fight to Ivan Pershin. In the repechage he lost in the semifinals against the upcoming bronze medalist Hesham Mesbah Hesham Mesbah ( ar, هشام مصباح; born 17 March 1982) is an Egyptian judoka. He won a bronze medal in the Judo at the 2008 Summer Olympics – Men's 90 kg, 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, Egypt's first judo medal in 24 years. Achieveme .... The 2018 World Sambo Championships was held in Bucharest, Romania from 9 and 12 November 2018. The World Sambo Championships are the main championships in Sambo and Combat Sambo, organized by the Fédération Internationale de Sambo (FIAS). History The first World Sambo Cup took place in 1977 in Oviedo, Spain. Two years later, the first Youth World Championships were held in Madrid, Spain. In 1984, an assembly of the Fédération Internationale des Luttes Associées (FILA), now known as the United World Wrestling, chose to create an independent federation for sambo, the Fédération Internationale de Sambo (FIAS).
