Andreea Ştefănescu (born 13 December 1993 in Iaşi) is a Romanian-born Italian rhythmic gymnast. Biography She was part of the 2010 and 2011 Italian team that competed at the World Championships that won the Group All-around gold medal. Her teammates also won a pair of bronze medals at the 2012 World Cup Final in 5 Balls and 3 Ribbons + 2 Hoops. She has won a bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the group all-around event together with other team members (Elisa Blanchi, Marta Pagnini, Elisa Santoni, Anzhelika Savrayuk, Romina Laurito). Anzhelika Savrayuk ( uk, Анжеліка Савраюк; born 23 August 1989 in Lutsk, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union) is a Ukrainian-born Italian rhythmic gymnast. Career Savrayuk has competed in two Olympic Games. She and the Italian group competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and finished 4th in the group all-around. She was part of the 2010 and 2011 Italian group that competed at the World Championships that won the Group all-around gold medal. Gioachino Rossini
Gioachino Antonio Rossini (29 February 1792 – 13 November 1868) was an Italian composer who gained fame for his 39 operas, although he also wrote many songs, some chamber music and piano pieces, and some sacred music. He set new standards for both comic and serious opera before retiring from large-scale composition while still in his thirties, at the height of his popularity. Born in Pesaro to parents who were both musicians (his father a trumpeter, his mother a singer), Rossini began to compose by the age of 12 and was educated at music school in Bologna. His first opera was performed in Venice in 1810 when he was 18 years old. In 1815 he was engaged to write operas and manage theatres in Naples. In the period 1810–1823 he wrote 34 operas for the Italian stage that were performed in Venice, Milan, Ferrara, Naples and elsewhere; this productivity necessitated an almost formulaic approach for some components (such as overtures) and a certain amount of self-borrowing. The ''William Tell'' Overture is the overture to the opera ''William Tell'' (original French title ''Guillaume Tell''), whose music was composed by Gioachino Rossini. ''William Tell'' premiered in 1829 and was the last of Rossini's 39 operas, after which he went into semi-retirement (he continued to compose cantatas, sacred music and secular vocal music). The overture is in four parts, each following without pause. There has been repeated use (and sometimes parody) of parts of this overture in both classical music and popular media. It was the theme music for ''The Lone Ranger'' in radio, television and film, and has become widely associated with horseback riding since then. Armand Amar (born 1953) is a French composer, who grew up in Morocco. He won the 2008 César Award for Best Music for ''Le Concert'' (Radu Mihăileanu). Life and career Armand Amar is a French composer living in Paris. In 1968, he began playing the congas. He also practiced the tabla and the zarb in the following years. In 1976 he met South African choreographer Peter Goss, who introduced him to dance. In the subsequent years, he worked with a number of choreographers in contemporary dance. His works are focused particularly on Eastern music. It was established in 1951 by the second President of the Italian Republic, Luigi Einaudi.
