Marta Andreasen (born 26 November 1954) is an Argentine-born Spanish accountant. She was employed in January 2002 by the European Commission as Chief Accountant,Andreasen, Marta: ''Brussels Laid Bare'', pg. 20. Nancy Coover Andreasen (born November 11, 1938) is an American neuroscientist and neuropsychiatrist. She currently holds the Andrew H. Woods Chair of Psychiatry at the Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine at the University of Iowa. Early life Andreasen was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska with majors in English, History, and Philosophy. She received a Ph.D. in English literature. Rannvá Biskopstø Andreasen (born 10 November 1980) is a Faroese football forward for KÍ Klaksvík of the Faroese 1. deild kvinnur. Since 2004, she has represented the Faroe Islands women's national football team at senior international level. She is the national team's all-time record goalscorer, inclusive of both male and female players. Leon Hougaard Andreasen (born 23 April 1983) is a Danish former professional footballer who played as a defender or midfielder. He won 20 caps and scored three goals for the Denmark national team. Christian Andreasen (born 18 May 1988) is a Danish football player who now works as a lawyer. He has represented Randers FC in the Danish Superliga, and has played for Finnish club TPS Turku in the Veikkausliiga championship, Thisted FC in the Viasat Sport Divisionen and Flekkerøy IL in the Norwegian 2nd Division. Søren Skals Andreasen (born 13 March 1996) is a Danish footballer who plays for Aarhus Fremad, as a striker. Club career Esbjerg fB Andreasen was a big talent and joined Esbjerg fB from Starup IF at the age of 14. He was on a trial at Tottenham Hotspur in October 2013, however without getting offered any contract. In last game of 2014 for the U19 squad, he suffered a very bad anterior cruciate ligament injury that kept him out for 10 months. George Andreasen
George F. Andreasen (February 16, 1934 – August 11, 1989), born in Fremont, Nebraska, was an American orthodontist and inventor. Andreasen, most noted for his invention and patent of the Nitinol Wire, also known as Memory Wire or shape memory alloy, began his experimentation with the nickel-titanium (NiTi) alloys as early as 1969. His idea for Nitinol came from an article he read in the United States Naval laboratory publication supplement in the Journal of American Orthodontics. Over the course of the next seven years, Andreasen experimented with his formula until he reached his goal and was awarded U.S. Pat. No. 4,037,324 on July 26, 1979. Dagmar Andreasen née Rasmussen (1920–2006) was a Danish businesswoman and a politician. In 1953, she took over the management of Rynkeby Mosteri, an apple juice factory which had been founded by her mother in the village of Rynkeby on the island of Funen. She introduced significant improvements, began to produce other juices, especially blackcurrant, and successfully promoted the Rynkeby brand name.
