Andrea Bacchetti (rugby Union Player)
Andrea Bacchetti (born Rovigo, 4 July 1988) was an Italian rugby union player. His usual position was as a Wing and he played for Rovigo Delta in Top12 from 2006 to 2013 and from 2019 to 2023. From October 2023, he is ''Team Manager'' of Rugby Rovigo Delta. For 2012–13 Pro12 season, he named like ''Additional Player'' for Zebre. In 2008 Bacchetti was named in the Italy Under 20 squad and in 2009 he is part of Italy squad for 2009 Six Nations and, from 2009 to 2012 Emerging Italy squad for official tests. Rovigo (, ; egl, Ruig) is a city and ''comune'' in the Veneto region of Northeast Italy, the capital of the eponymous province. The 2012–13 Pro12 League (also known as the ''RaboDirect Pro12'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 12th season of the rugby union competition originally known as the Celtic League, the third with its current 12-team format, and the second with RaboDirect as title sponsor. Ospreys were the defending champions, but they failed to qualify for the end-of-season playoffs. The twelve teams that competed were the four Irish teams, Munster, Leinster, Connacht and Ulster; two Scottish teams, Edinburgh and Glasgow Warriors; four Welsh teams, Cardiff Blues, Newport Gwent Dragons, Ospreys and Scarlets; and two Italian teams, Benetton Treviso and newly created Zebre. 2009 Six Nations
The 2009 Six Nations Championship, known as the RBS 6 Nations for sponsorship reasons, was the 10th Six Nations Championship, and the 115th international championship, an annual rugby union competition contested by the six major European national teams: England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales. The tournament was held between 7 February and 21 March 2009. Ireland won the Grand Slam and Triple Crown, only their second Grand Slam, and first since 1948, and first Triple Crown since 2007.
