Andre Young (basketball)
Andre Young (born March 16, 1990) is a retired American professional basketball player. Standing at 5 ft 9 in (1.75 m), Young played the point guard or shooting guard position. He played four years of collegiate basketball with Clemson followed by three seasons of playing professionally in multiple countries in Europe. Career After playing college basketball for the Clemson Tigers, Young started his professional career in the Netherlands with EiffelTowers Den Bosch from the Dutch Basketball League. In his first season, he won the league's Most Valuable Player award and got a place in the All-DBL Team. With EiffelTowers, Young won the Dutch Cup. However, he did not win the national championship despite finishing first in the regular season. On June 12, 2013, Young signed with BC Goverla in the Ukrainian Basketball SuperLeague. Clemson Tigers Men's Basketball
The Clemson Tigers men's basketball team is a college basketball program that represents Clemson University and competes in the NCAA Division I. Clemson is a founding member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Clemson sponsored its first men's basketball team in the 1911–12 season, winning its first conference championship in 1939, and in the Atlantic Coast Conference in 1990. Dutch Basketball League
The Dutch Basketball League (DBL), formerly the Eredivisie, was the highest professional basketball league in the Netherlands, run by the Federatie Eredivisie Basketball (FEB). Since 2021, the league has been replaced by the Belgian-Dutch BNXT League. The league had a closed system: to participate, a team has to have enough money and potential. The league began in 1960 as the ''Eredivisie'' and was organized by the NBB and later the FEB. In 1977 the league introduced play-offs. As of 2019, the Dutch Basketball League consists of ten teams and plays under the FIBA rules.
