Andre Lyon (Empire)
Andre Martin Lyon is a fictional character from the American musical drama ''Empire (2015 TV series), Empire'', on Fox Broadcasting Network, Fox. Portrayed by Trai Byers, Andre is the oldest son of hip-hop mogul Lucious Lyon, Lucious (Terrence Howard) and his wife Cookie Lyon, Cookie (Taraji P. Henson). Storylines Andre, the college-educated executive in the company, is pitted against his two younger brothers, Hakeem Lyon (Bryshere Y. Gray) and Jamal Lyon, Jamal (Jussie Smollett), for control of the family business after their father's developing illness. Trai Byers
Trai Byers (born July 19, 1983) is an American actor. He is best known for playing Andre Lyon in the Fox television series ''Empire'' (2015–2020). Early life Trai Byers was born in Kansas City, Kansas. After a year of high school in Kansas City, he completed his high-school education in Georgia. Byers then graduated from Andrew College with an associate degree in Theater and graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in communications. He also attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles, and the Yale School of Drama. Bipolar disorder, previously known as manic depression, is a mental disorder characterized by periods of depression and periods of abnormally elevated mood that last from days to weeks each. If the elevated mood is severe or associated with psychosis, it is called mania; if it is less severe, it is called hypomania. During mania, an individual behaves or feels abnormally energetic, happy or irritable, and they often make impulsive decisions with little regard for the consequences. There is usually also a reduced need for sleep during manic phases.
