Andon Zako Çajupi Theatre
The Andon Zako Çajupi Theatre, named for Andon Zako Çajupi, is the city theatre of the city of Korçë in southern Albania. The theatre opened in 1950 and has been working since, without interruption. In 2016 the theatre was reconstructed to turn it into a modern theatre. Firstly, when it was opened the theatre was made by 10 professional actors and 15 amateur actors. Today there are famous actors and directors such as: Zamira Kita, Sotiraq Bratko, Blerta Belliu, Ilda Pepi, Klodjana Keco, Paola Kodra etc. Since 2013 in this theatre is held KOKO Fest or Korça Comedy. Korçë
Korçë (; sq-definite, Korça) is the List of cities and towns in Albania, eighth most populous city of Albania and the seat of Korçë County and Korçë Municipality. The total population of the city is 51,152 and 75,994 of Korçë municipality (2011 census), in a total area of . Andon Zako Çajupi
Andon Zako Çajupi (27 March 186611 July 1930) was an Albanian lawyer, playwright, poet and rilindas. Biography He was born in the village of Sheper, Upper Zagoria, Albania, then Ottoman Empire, on 27 March 1866. Çajupi's father, Harito Zako, was a tobacco merchant, with a business extending throughout the then-Ottoman Empire and also into Italy and other parts of western Europe. Çajupi's elementary education was undertaken at the nearest Greek elementary school. In 1882, he moved to Alexandria, where he studied French for five years at ''Sainte Catherine des Lazaristes''. During his time in Alexandria, Çajupi met several western European lawyers representing businesses in Egypt. These meetings convinced him to study law in Switzerland, and in 1887, Çajupi arrived in Geneva, where he studied law for five years. ''The House of Bernarda Alba'' () is a play (theatre), play by the Spain, Spanish dramatist Federico García Lorca.
