Banyumas ( jv, ꦧꦚꦸꦩꦱ꧀, formerly spelt "Banjoemas") Regency is a regency ( id, kabupaten) in the southwestern part of Central Java province in Indonesia. Its capital is the town of Purwokerto, but that town no longer has a central administration and is split over four of the districts within the Regency, with a combined population of 230,235 as at mid 2021. The Regency covers an area of 1,327.59 km2, and had a population of 1,554,527 at the 2010 Census and 1,776,918 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate of population as at mid 2021 was 1,789,630. The term ''Banyumasan'' is also used as an adjective referring to the culture, language and peoples of the wider Banyumas area, equivalent to the pre-independence Banyumas Residency. Madura Island is an Indonesian island off the northeastern coast of Java. 2016 Indonesia Soccer Championship B
The 2016 Indonesia Soccer Championship B is the inaugural season of the Indonesia Soccer Championship B, a football competition that replaced the temporarily-suspended Liga Indonesia Premier Division. This competition started in 30 April 2016. PSCS Cilacap became champion after beating PSS Sleman 4-3 after extra time in the final. Teams Indonesia Soccer Championship B was competed for by 53 clubs from 2015 Liga Indonesia Premier Division. But later on, PS Badung Bali and Persires Rengat withdrew from the tournament. Liga 1 U-19 is a junior level league of participating clubs in the Liga 1. From 2008 to 2014, this youth league was an under-21 league known as the Indonesia Super League U-21. From the 2017 season onwards, the competition age limit decreased from under-21 to under-19. Building and managing a complete U-19 team is one of the requirements for clubs participating in the Liga 1, as regulated by the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI). From 2019, the league is replaced by Elite Pro Academy.
