Anderson Secondary School
Anderson Secondary School (ANDSS) is a co-educational government autonomous school in Ang Mo Kio, Singapore offering education for Secondary 1 to Secondary 5. It became an autonomous school in 1994 and was one of the pioneer autonomous schools in Singapore. History Anderson Secondary School was founded in 1960 as a girls' primary school. In 1964, it became a girls' secondary school and began admitting boys in 1965. The school has occupied several sites. Previously situated at Stevens Road and Anderson Road (from which it got its name), the school moved to Ang Mo Kio Street 44 in 1984. In December 1993, it moved to its current site, Ang Mo Kio Street 53. Anderson Secondary School has been used from time to time for educational experiments. In 1994 it was declared an autonomous school for consistent academic performance, and in 1996 it was one of the first schools to use the Students-and-Teachers Workbench project. 2010 Summer Youth Olympics
The 2010 Summer Youth Olympics ( ta, 2010 கோடைக்கால இளையோர் ஒலிம்பிக் விளையாட்டுக்கள் ms, Sukan Olimpik Belia Musim Panas 2010), officially known as the I Summer Youth Olympic Games, and commonly known as Singapore 2010, was the inaugural edition of the Youth Olympic Games (YOG), an Olympic Games-based event for young athletes. Cruz Teng
Cruz Teng (born 18 September 1979) is a former Singaporean radio and television host. He is currently a communications professional. He made his radio debut in 1996 at the age of 16 and hosted radio and television programmes, as well as entertainment, trade and corporate events from 1996 to 2015. He was head of Singapore’s number one radio station YES 933 from 2013 to 2015, and a four-time winner of the Most Popular Radio Personality Award. Colin Cheong
Colin Cheong Wye Mun (Zhen Wai Mung) is a Singapore writer born in 1965. He has written or edited nearly 30 books, four of which have won national awards. He won the Singapore Literature Prize in 1996 for his novel, ''Tangerine''. The older of three children born to two teachers, Colin Cheong attended Victoria School, Anderson Secondary School, Hwa Chong Junior College, Ngee Ann Polytechnic and National University of Singapore. Ang Peng Siong
Ang Peng Siong (; born 27 October 1962 in Singapore) is a swimmer from Singapore, who once held World Number 1 ranking in the 50 m freestyle. As of 2012, he is Singapore's Swimming National Head Coach. Ang was ranked fifth in a list of ''Singapore's 50 Greatest Athletes of the Century'' by ''The Straits Times'' in 1999. Biography Ang learned to swim at the age of five, taught by his father at the Farrer Park Swimming Complex, Ang Teck Bee (Chinese: 洪德美).
