Boğaziçi University ( tr, Boğaziçi Üniversitesi), also known as Bosphorus University, is a major research university in Istanbul, Turkey. Its main campus is located on the European side of the Bosphorus, Bosphorus strait. It has six faculties and two schools offering undergraduate degrees, and six institutes offering graduate degrees. Traditionally, the language of instruction is English. Founded in 1863, as Robert College, it was the first Higher education in the United States, American higher education institution founded outside the United States. Anderson Hall (Gainesville, Florida)
Anderson Hall is a historic building located in the northeastern section of the University of Florida campus in Gainesville, Florida. The building houses the university's political science and religion departments, both a part of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Anderson Hall was designed by William Augustus Edwards, responsible for planning nearly all of the campus' early buildings, in Collegiate Gothic style. Construction began in 1912, and the building opened in October 1913 as Language Hall. On June 27, 1979, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. It is also a part of the University of Florida Campus Historic District, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 20, 1989. Anderson Hall (Manhattan, Kansas)
Anderson Hall is the central administration building for Kansas State University in the city of Manhattan, Kansas, United States. Designed by Erasmus T. Carr, it was originally called the Practical Agriculture Building when the first wing (now the north wing) was completed in 1879. In 1902, it was renamed "Anderson Hall" in honor of John Alexander Anderson, the second president of Kansas State Agricultural College (now Kansas State University). The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. Over time, this building has housed a diverse set of facilities, including a canteen, a barbershop, and a chapel. An electronic carillon was installed in 1965 to sound the hours. Anderson Hall (Lexington, Kentucky)
Mechanical Hall (or Old Anderson Hall or Dicker Hall) at the University of Kentucky, was completed in January 1892 and served as the home to the engineering department. It was known as Dicker Hall by the 1930s and was renamed Anderson Hall in 1948. The building stood as a modern engineering complex, teaching such courses as nuclear engineering, gas dynamics, motion and time study, power plants, heat transfer and thermodynamics, as well as air conditioning. In 1939 the construction of three buildings and the Wendt shop next to Dicker Hall comprised the quadrangle. From the 1940s to the 1960s it is the third largest department in the college of engineering. It was named after F.
