"And the Sun Will Shine" is a song by the rock band Bee Gees, it was written by Barry Gibb, Robin Gibb and Maurice Gibb and released in February 1968 on the album '' Horizontal''. It was released as a single in France backed with " Really and Sincerely" and reached #66 there. Background and recording The earliest session for Horizontal was really just a demo date to tape rough versions of the brothers' new songs. Venturing to Denmark Street (known as London's Tin Pan Alley), the Bee Gees booked Central Sound for July 17, quickly cutting several tracks. Peter Asher
Peter Asher (born 22 June 1944) is an English guitarist, singer, manager and record producer. Paul Jones (born Paul Adrian Pond, 24 February 1942) is an English singer, actor, harmonicist, radio personality and television presenter. ''One Night Only'' is a live album and DVD/Blu-ray by the Bee Gees. It features the group's concert at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on November 14, 1997 and includes many of their greatest hits. The CD is edited, with some songs omitted, though the DVD version of the concert is complete. A reissue of the album was released in 1999, and includes a bonus CD with the missing songs. The CD and DVD cover features the band replicating their iconic '' Saturday Night Fever'' pose. The concert was re-released on SD Blu-ray by Eagle Rock Entertainment in 2013. The re-release provides superior audio quality than what is possible on DVD, but video is only marginally improved (the standard-definition video is now up-scaled to 1080i). The Smothers Brothers were the American duo of brothers Tom and Dick Smothers, who performed folk singing, music, and comedy. The brothers' trademark double act was performing folk songs (Tommy on acoustic guitar, Dick on double bass), which usually led to arguments between them. Tommy's signature line was "Mom always liked you best!" Tommy (the elder of the two) acted "slow" and Dick, the straight man, acted "superior".
