''...And God Created Them'' ( es, Díos los Cría...) is a 1979 Puerto Rican comedy film directed by Jacobo Morales. It was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 1981 Cannes Film Festival. It featured an ensemble cast made up mainly of Puerto Rican acting stars. Plot The film consists of five vignettes: * Dios los cría – A rich industrialist has died, leaving two sons and his widow (a buxom young woman) as heirs. While his body lies on a public wake, both brothers sob and hug tenderly, after which one of them sneaks out of the funeral parlor, goes to the father's office, opens the office's safe and steals the cash inside it. On his way out, he's confronted by his brother, who points a gun at him. They exchange words about their individual relationship, as well as how they related to their father and how his widow would not deserve any part of the old man's estate. Otilio Warrington, known popularly as Bizcocho (born February 26, 1944) is a comedian, best known for his roles of "Bizcocho" and "Cuca Gómez". Early years Warrington was born in the Barrio Obrero area of Santurce, Puerto Rico. When he was nine years old, his family moved to the Lloréns Torres public housing project. There he lived for the next 25 years. Warrington left school when he was a teenager and made a living by polishing shoes at a local barbershop. One of the barbershop's regular customers was Tommy Muñiz, a television show producer. One day Warrington asked Muñiz for a job in television but was told to get some more education and come back to him after he graduated. Early years Suárez and his sister were born into a middle-class family and raised in the Santurce section of San Juan, Puerto Rico.
