Ancol Railway Station
Ancol Station (AC) is a railway station located in West Pademangan, Pademangan, North Jakarta, Indonesia. The station is situated on a railway junction where a line from Jatinegara connects to the Tanjung Priuk– Jakarta Kota railway. It is serving the Pink line KRL Commuterline from Jakarta Kota to Tanjung Priuk. In the past, there were railway sidings heading to the Pasoso–Pertamina Cilincing depot from Ancol station but those have been closed since the 1990s. Starting from 25 June 2016, Ancol Station was reactivated to serve KRL Commuterline trips from Jakarta Kota to Tanjung Priok. The Provincial Government of Jakarta has proposed the construction of a new station, namely the JIS station, on the road plot between this station and Tanjung Priuk station. This proposal is being discussed together with the Directorate General of Railways. Pademangan is a port-associated subdistrict of North Jakarta, Indonesia. It stretches from the Sunda Kelapa Harbor on the east to the western area of Tanjung Priok Harbor to the east. KRL Commuterline, or commonly known as Commuterline, is a commuter rail system for Greater Jakarta in Indonesia. It was previously known as KRL Jabodetabek. KA Commuter line Jakarta Kota–Tanjung Priok, or the Tanjung Priok line, is a commuter rail line in Indonesia, operated by PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia. The line connects Jakarta Kota station in West Jakarta and Tanjung Priuk station in North Jakarta. On maps and diagrams, the line is shown using the colour "pink" (). Covering a distance of only 15.37 kilometres, the pink line is the shortest line in the Jakarta KA Commuter system, and serves mostly as the connecting feeder line between Jakarta Kota station (red and blue line) and Kampung Bandan station (yellow line).
