Anastasios Schizas
Anastasios Schizas (born 18 February 1977) is a Greek retired water polo player who competed in the 2004 Summer Olympics (4th place) and the 2008 Summer Olympics (7th place). Schizas was part of the Greece men's national water polo team that won the Bronze Medal in the 2005 World Championship in Montreal and the Bronze Medal in the 2004 World League in Long Beach. Schizas started his career at Poseidon Ilision and then played for Ethnikos Piraeus. In 2002 he signed for Olympiacos where he had a long and successful career, playing for twelve consecutive seasons (2002–2014) and winning 21 major titles (1 LEN Super Cup, 10 Greek Championships and 10 Greek Cups). Ethnikos Piraeus Water Polo Club
Ethnikos Piraeus Water Polo Club is the water polo team of Ethnikos OFPF (meaning: ''National Club of Fans of Piraeus and Phalerum,'' in Greek: ''Εθνικός Όμιλος Φιλάθλων Πειραιώς Φαλήρου''). Ethnikos is one of the most successful and traditional water polo clubs in Greece. They have won a record 38 Greek water polo championships and 12 Greek water polo cups (eight of them are consecutive, which is a record) with 9 Doubles. Ethnikos has the record of 9 unbeaten doubles as well as the record for consecutive unbeaten doubles with 8. They hold the unique record of winning 18 championships in a row (from 1953 to 1970) and the second most with 14 in a row (from 1972 to 1985). LEN Super Cup
The LEN Super Cup is an annual water polo match organized by LEN and contested by the reigning champions of the two European club competitions, the LEN Champions League and the LEN Euro Cup. From 1976 to 2002, the LEN Super Cup was contested between the winners of the European Champions Cup/LEN Champions League and the winners of the LEN Cup Winners' Cup.
