Anastasia Dotsenko
Anastasia Alexandrovna Dotsenko (russian: Анастаси́я Алекса́ндровна Доце́нко) (born 14 October 1986 in Zelenodolsk) is a Russian cross-country skier. She competed at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2011 in Oslo, and at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2013 in Val di Fiemme. She competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, where she reached the quarter-finals in the ladies' sprint, and she was part of the Russian team that placed sixth in the team sprint, along with Yuliya Ivanova. The ''Fédération internationale de ski et de snowboard'' (FIS; en, International Ski and Snowboard Federation) is the highest international governing body for skiing and snowboarding. Cross-country Skiing At The 2014 Winter Olympics – Women's 4 × 5 Kilometre Relay
The women's 4 × 5 kilometre relay cross-country skiing competition at the 2014 Sochi Olympics took place on 15 February at Laura Biathlon & Ski Complex. Sweden won the event. This became the first gold medal in the women's relay for Sweden since the 1960 Winter Olympics. Finland won the silver medals, and Germany finished third. Gold medals won in this event featured a fragment from the Chelyabinsk meteor, to commemorate the first anniversary of the meteor strike. Results The race was started at 14:00. In November 2017, Yuliya Ivanova was disqualified from the event meaning that the whole Russian team was also disqualified. Cross-country Skiing At The 2014 Winter Olympics – Women's 30 Kilometre Freestyle
The women's 30 kilometre mass start freestyle cross-country skiing competition at the 2014 Sochi Olympics took place on 22 February at Laura Biathlon & Ski Complex. Three Norwegian athletes, Marit Bjørgen, Therese Johaug, and Kristin Størmer Steira, took the lead from 1 km on and skied in the group, never being threatened by other competitors. At the finish line, Bjørgen won gold, Johaug finished second, and Størmer Steira was third. This is the first gold for Norway in women's 30 km race, and the first clean sweep in Olympic cross country skiing since 1992. For Bjørgen, this was the sixth Winter Olympic gold medal, which, together with Lidiya Skoblikova and Lyubov Yegorova, made her a woman with the largest number of Winter Olympics gold medals won.
