Anand Agricultural University
Anand Agricultural University (AAU) is located in the western Indian state of Gujarat between the cities of Vadodara and Ahmedabad. This was formerly the Anand Campus of Gujarat Agricultural University, which is now independent. It has three constituent colleges, for agriculture, veterinary science and animal husbandry and dairy science. The jurisdiction of the university covers Kheda, Anand, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Dahod and Panchmahal districts. It was set up to provide education support to the farming community in areas such as Agriculture, Horticulture, Engineering, Information technology and Business Studies. Dabhoi
Dabhoi is a town and a municipality in the Vadodara district in the state of Gujarat, India. History Dabhoi was historically known as Darbhavati, Darbikagrama, Darbhavatipura, and Dabhohi. It is first mentioned in the sixth century astronomical treatise ''Romaka Siddhanta''. It was an important pilgrim site for Hindus due to the Kalika temple and for Jains as well. It is also mentioned in several Jain works, such as Hemachandra's ''Yogartrevritti'' and Ramchandra's ''Vikramcharitra''. The town and its surroundings were under Chavda and later under Chaulukya rulers who built few buildings and temples from the ninth century. Dhandhuka
Dhandhuka is a city and a municipality in the Ahmedabad district in the state of Gujarat, India. Moreover, it is a part of the Bhal region. Dhandhuka is said to have been founded by, and to take its name from, Koli Dhana Mer, or rather Mehd, the second of the thirteen sons of the Sonang Mehd who in early times came into Gujarat from Sind. Derol or Dedol is a village in the Sabarkantha district of Gujarat, in western India. History Derol was a Sixth Class princely state, including a second village in Mahi Kantha. It had a combined population of 837 in 1901, yielding a state revenue of 1,823 Rupees (1903–1904, mostly from land), paying tributes of 513 Rupees to the Gaikwar Baroda State and 47 Rupees to Idar State. Sardar Patel University (SPU) is a public state university in Vallabh Vidyanagar, a town Gujarat, India.
