Anamaria Ocolișan
Anamaria Ocolișan (born 10 December 1997 in Petroșani, Romania) is a Romanian artistic gymnast. She was part of her country's team at the 2014 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, competing in the team event where Romania placed fourth. Senior career 2014 Ocolisan competed at the National Championships where she placed 7th in the all-around, 3rd on vault and 3rd on the uneven bars. She also competed at a friendly meet between Switzerland, Germany and Romania where she placed 2nd with the Romanian team, 2nd on vault, 12th on the uneven bars and 8th on beam. She was part of the Romanian team at the 2014 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships who placed 4th in the team final. She also competed at the Joaquim Blume Memorial and placed 10th in the all-around. 2015 Ocolisan competed at Trofeo Torino 4 Nazioni and placed 3rd with the team and 10th in the all-around. Petroșani
Petroșani (; Hungarian: ''Petrozsény''; German: ''Petroschen'') is a city in Hunedoara County, Transylvania, Romania, with a population of 34,331 (2011). The city has been associated with mining since the 19th century. History "Pietros" means "stony, rocky" in Romanian. The city of Petroșani was founded in the 17th century (around 1640) with the name Petrozsény. In 1720, an Austrian cartographer mentions that the entire Jiu Valley was intensely populated and settlements could be seen from one end to the other. During the 1818 census, Petrozsény had 233 inhabitants, while the entire Valley counted 2,550. During this time, the main activity of the people was shepherding and no urban settlement had appeared yet. 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships was the forty-sixth edition of the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships. The competition was held from 23 October – 1 November 2015 at The SSE Hydro in Glasgow, United Kingdom, and is the first time that Scotland hosted the event. The competition served as a qualification for the 2016 Summer Olympics. Japan won the men's team all-around competition for the first time since 1978, and the United States won the women's team all-around title for the third straight time. In the individual all-around competitions, Kōhei Uchimura and Simone Biles won their sixth and third successive title, respectively. Qualifying in thirteenth place, team Romania failed to automatically qualify to the Olympic Games for the first time since 1966. 2016 European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The 31st European Championships in Women's Artistic Gymnastics Seniors and Juniors was held from 1 to 5 June 2016, at the PostFinance-Arena in Bern, Switzerland. It was the first time the city had hosted a major female international competition (it hosted the 1975 Men's European Gymnastics Championships), and was the first time Switzerland hosted the competition in the country. The Romania women's national artistic gymnastics team represents Romania in FIG international competitions. History Romania won team competition bronze medals at the 1956 and 1960 Summer Olympics. They found major success in women's gymnastics starting in 1976. At that year's Olympics, Nadia Comăneci made history, leading Romania to the team silver medal, winning the individual all-around gold medal, and becoming the first woman to score a perfect 10. Larisa Andreea Iordache (; born 19 June 1996) is a former Romanians, Romanian Artistic gymnastics, artistic gymnast.
