Analena Jentsch
Analena Jentsch (born 28 May 1997) is a retired German curler from Füssen. She formerly played lead on the German National Women's Curling Team skipped by her sister Daniela Jentsch. Career When she was just 17, Jentsch participated in her first World Women's Curling Championship at the 2015 World Women's Curling Championship. Her team of her sister Daniela Jentsch at skip, Stella Heiß at second and Pia-Lisa Schöll at lead beat top teams Sweden and United States before losing their last five games to finish with a record of 4–7. Jentsch played in her first European Curling Championships the following season at the 2015 European Curling Championships as third for the German team. The team missed the playoffs with a 4–5 record but did qualify their country for the 2016 World Championship. Füssen
Füssen is a town in Bavaria, Germany, in the district of Ostallgäu, situated one kilometre from the Austrian border. 2016 European Curling Championships – Women's Tournament
The women's tournament of the 2016 European Curling Championships was held from November 18 to 26 in Renfrewshire, Scotland. The winners of the Group C tournament in Ljubljana, Slovenia moved on to the Group B tournament. The top eight women's teams at the 2016 European Curling Championships will represent their respective nations at the 2017 World Women's Curling Championship in Beijing. The tournament saw the debut of the Italian team. The Czech team for the first time got into the semifinals. Furthermore, the Russian team headed by skip Victoria Moiseeva debuted on these championships, following their win over Sidorova's defending champion team in the Russian Supercup. 2019 Tour Challenge
The 2019 KIOTI TRACTOR Tour Challenge was held from November 5 to 10, at the Pictou County Wellness Centre in Westville Road, Nova Scotia. It was the second Grand Slam event of the 2019–20 season. In the men's tier 1 final, Brad Jacobs of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario defeated Brad Gushue of St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador to win his 5th Grand Slam. In the tier 2 final, Korey Dropkin defeated Tanner Horgan to earn a spot at the 2020 Canadian Open in January. In the women's tier 1 final, Anna Hasselborg of Sundbyberg, Sweden defeated Kerri Einarson of Gimli, Manitoba to win her 3rd Grand Slam. Grand Slam Of Curling
The Grand Slam of Curling (branded as the Pinty's Grand Slam of Curling for sponsorship reasons) is a series of curling bonspiels that are a part of the annual World Curling Tour. Grand Slam events offer a purse of at least CAD$100,000, and feature the best teams from across Canada and around the World. The Grand Slam was instituted during the 2001–02 season for men and 2006–07 for women (with the 2006 Players' Championship also considered a Slam), but some of the Grand Slam events have longer histories as bonspiels. Klara-Hermine Fomm also known as Klara Fomm (born 26 October 1999) is a German curler from Dresden. She currently skips her own team out of Füssen. Career Fomm was the alternate for the German team at the 2016 World Junior B Curling Championships, skipped by Maike Beer. The team finished in eleventh place. Fomm joined the German women's national team in 2018, initially at lead position. The German team would have success at the Europeans. The team reached the playoffs at Fomm's first European Curling Championships with a 5–4 record. In the semifinal, they lost to the Swiss team Silvana Tirinzoni 6–4. In the bronze medal game though, the Germans turned things around. The team would win the game 7–4, winning them the bronze medal. It was her first medal at an international competition. Emira Abbes (born 6 September 1996) is a German curler from Füssen. She currently skips the German National Women's Curling Team. She previously played third on the team led by Daniela Jentsch. Career Abbes was a member of the German team at the 2017 Winter Universiade, playing second on a team skipped by Maike Beer. The team finished in eighth. Abbes became the alternate on the German national women's team (skipped by Daniela Jentsch) in 2017. As the team's alternate, she played in the 2017 World Women's Curling Championship. The team was sitting at 5–4 with two games left. The Germans had a chance to qualify for the playoffs. Silvana Tirinzoni
Silvana Petra Tirinzoni (born 25 June 1979) is a Swiss curler from Zurich. She is currently the reigning women's world champion skip having won the last three championships, in 2019, 2021 and . Tirinzoni also represented Switzerland at the 2022 Winter Olympics and 2018 Winter Olympics, after winning the 2017 Swiss Olympic Curling Trials. Career In 1997, Tirinzoni was the Swiss alternate for Bianca Röthlisberger at the World Junior Curling Championships. The team finished seventh. The following year, Tirinzoni was the Swiss skip at the World Juniors, and she and her team of Michèle Knobel, Brigitte Schori and Martina von Arx finished sixth.
