Anaid Iplicjian (born 24 October 1935) is a German actress. Biography She is of Armenian descent. After studying at the Mozarteum Academy in Salzburg she has been a member of the Graz (Austria), Wiesbaden, the State Theatre Hannover and the Burgtheater (Vienna) companies. A freelance actress since 1970, she has been working on Frankfurt/Main, Hamburg, Berlin, Munich and Vienna stages. She has appeared many times in German and Austrian television. She was the presenter of the Eurovision Song Contest 1957. The Eurovision Song Contest 1957 was the second edition of the annual Eurovision Song Contest. Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster (HR) on behalf of ARD, the contest, originally known as the (English: Eurovision Grand Prize of European Song 1957 ) was held on Sunday 3 March 1957 and was hosted at the in Frankfurt, West Germany by German actress Anaid Iplicjian. The Eurovision Song Contest is an annual international song competition, held every year by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) since 1956. This page is a list of people who have acted as presenters of the contest. Since 1988, it has been the norm to have at least two presenters for the contest. Lohengrin Filipello
Lohengrin Filipello (c. 1918 – 29 December 1993) was a Swiss television presenter. Biography Filipello would commentate on behalf of SRG SSR, the main Swiss broadcaster during the 1950s and 1960s, and has made several involvements, such as creating new ideas of shows to broadcast on television, commentating on then-current events, and editing footage before broadcast, among others. In 1956, Filipello had the honour of hosting the staged in Lugano, Switzerland. Filipello was the only male presenter to host the competition until Léon Zitrone was co-presenter in the . Filipello also has the distinction as the only man who has hosted the contest by himself, as of the 2021 contest. Hannie Lips
Hannie Lips (16 July 1924 – 19 November 2012) was a Dutch broadcaster and television announcer of among others Dutch public broadcasting association KRO. She is best known to international audiences for presenting the Third Eurovision Song Contest in 1958 when it was staged in Hilversum, Netherlands. In addition she hosted the Dutch National Song Contest in 1960 and 1962. Lips died in the Netherlands at the age of 88 in her hometown Laren.
