Ana Mesquita
Ana Mesquita is a Portuguese archaeologist. Since 2015 she has been a deputy in the Assembly of the Republic of Portugal representing the Unitary Democratic Coalition (CDU), which is a coalition between the Portuguese Communist Party (PCP), of which she is a member, and the Ecologist Party "The Greens". Early life Ana Cristina Cardoso Dias Mesquita was born in Portugal's second city of Porto on 22 March 1979. She lived most of her youth in the town of Rio Tinto in the municipality of Gondomar, north of Porto. Mesquita obtained a degree in archaeology and history from the University of Coimbra and became a practising archaeologist in 2009. At a young age she was a keen soccer player. She continued to play while at university in Coimbra and, later, for the C.D. Olivais e Moscavide club in Lisbon. Diana Ferreira is a Portuguese psychologist and politician. A member of the Portuguese Communist Party (PCP), she has been a deputy to the Assembly of the Republic of Portugal since September 2014, representing the Porto constituency. Early life Diana Jorge Martins Ferreira was born in Porto on 17 March 1981 and lived in the Massarelos parish of that city. She obtained a degree in psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto, where she was on the board of the students' association for the faculty. Unitary Democratic Coalition
The Unitary Democratic Coalition ( pt, CDU – Coligação Democrática Unitária, PCP–PEV) is an electoral and political coalition between the Portuguese Communist Party ( pt, Partido Comunista Português or PCP) and the Ecologist Party "The Greens" (Portuguese: Partido Ecologista "Os Verdes" or PEV). The coalition also integrates the political movement Democratic Intervention ( pt, Intervenção Democrática or ID). The coalition was formed for the first time in 1987 in order to run to the simultaneous legislative election and European Parliament election that were held on July 19 of that year.
