''An Andalusian Gentleman'' (Spanish:''Un caballero andaluz'') is a 1954 Spanish musical film directed by Luis Lucia and starring Jorge Mistral, Carmen Sevilla and Manuel Luna.Mira p.280 The film's sets were designed by the art directors Gil Parrondo and Luis Pérez Espinosa. Synopsis A former bullfighter, desolated after the dead of his son, finds a little hope in Esperanza, a young gypsy girl that earns money hardly for her family. When he realizes that Esperanza is blind and that the gypsies are never educated, he decides to build a school. There are six songs in the film. Luis Lucia
Luis Lucia Mingarro (24 May 1914, in Valencia – 12 March 1984, in Madrid) was a Spanish film director and screenwriter. His father, Luis Lucia, was the Spanish minister of communications in 1935. He studied Law and was the attorney of CIFESA film studios. As director, he discovered child prodigies Marisol, Rocío Dúrcal and made them stars. He tried the same with Ana Belén but her film debut ''Zampo y yo'' was a flop. He was interred at Cementerio de Majadahonda, Majadahonda, Madrid, Spain. Bullfighter
A bullfighter (or matador) is a performer in the activity of bullfighting. ''Torero'' () or ''toureiro'' (), both from Latin ''taurarius'', are the Spanish and Portuguese words for bullfighter and describe all the performers in the activity of bullfighting as practised in Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Peru, France, Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela and other countries influenced by Portuguese and Spanish culture. The main performer and leader of the entourage in a bullfight, and who finally kills the bull, is addressed as ''maestro'' (master), or with the formal title ''matador de toros'' (killer of bulls). The other bullfighters in the entourage are called ''subalternos'' and their suits are embroidered in silver as opposed to the matador's gold. They include the ''picadores'', ''rejoneadores'', and ''banderilleros''. Antonio Ozores
Antonio Ozores Puchol (24 August 1928, in Burjassot – 12 May 2010, in Madrid) was a Spanish actor. He was the son of actors Mariano Ozores and Luisa Puchol, brother of director Mariano Ozores (Jr.) and of actor Jose Luis Ozores, father of Emma Ozores, and uncle of actress Adriana Ozores. José Luis López Vázquez de la Torre MML (11 March 1922, in Madrid – 2 November 2009, in Madrid) was a Spanish actor. Career José Luis López Vázquez was born in Madrid, Spain, on 11 March 1922.
