Amy MacDonald is an American author of children's books. Her works include ''Little Beaver and the Echo'', which has been translated into 28 languages around the world, and ''Rachel Fister's Blister''. Her first book, a satire of Jill Krementz's children's books, was ''A Very Young Housewife''. Amy MacDonald was born 1951 in Beverly, Massachusetts. She enjoyed reading books and writing satirical stories during her childhood. Amy MacDonald graduated from high school at Pingree School (1969), South Hamilton, Massachusetts and she graduated from college at the University of Pennsylvania (1973). She married Thomas Urquhart in 1976. Amy MacDonald went to France to study journalism 6 years after marrying her husband and moved to England and had children. Amy McDonald (Scottish Footballer)
Amy McDonald (born 17 October 1985) is a Scottish football coach and former player for the Scotland national team as well as Hamilton Athletic, Kilmarnock, Queen's Park, Celtic and Glasgow City in the Scottish Women's Premier League. After working in youth development at Glasgow City, in May 2017 she became the head coach of Rangers Women, moving to a role as overall manager of the women's section of the club in 2019. Playing career Club Born in Rutherglen and a pupil at Stonelaw High School in the town, McDonald emerged as a central defender or defensive midfielder. Her progression into elite football coincided with the introduction of the new Scottish Women's Premier League. Amy McDonald (Australian Footballer)
Amy McDonald (born 7 February 1998) is an Australian rules footballer playing for the Geelong Football Club in the AFL Women's (AFLW). McDonald is a three-time Geelong best and fairest winner and was named in the AFL Women's season seven All-Australian team. Junior career McDonald originally hails from Ballarat and played netball for Redan Football Netball Club, including an under 19s premiership in 2014 when she was just 15.
