Amr Singh is a film director, and creative partner at Fort. He is currently based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Early life Amr Singh was born in Cape Town, South Africa on 26 April 1985. He attended the University of Cape Town in 2003 where he graduated with degrees (BA Hons) in media studies, anthropology and film. Career While students, Amr Singh and Shukri Toefy founded Fort, where Singh now serves as co-founder, creative partner and film director. Kiernan Jarryd Forbes (born 28 January 1988), known professionally as AKA, is a South African rapper. Born and raised in Cape Town, Forbes gained significance after releasing his single "Victory Lap" which was released from his debut studio album, ''Altar Ego'' (2011). The MTV Africa Music Awards (also known as the MAMAs) were established in 2008 by MTV Networks Africa (now Viacom International Media Networks Africa) to celebrate the most popular contemporary music in Africa.
