"Amor Puro" ''(English language, English: Pure Love)'' is a song by Puerto Rican people, Puerto Rican reggaeton, reggaetón recording artist Ivy Queen from her seventh studio album ''Drama Queen (Ivy Queen album), Drama Queen'' (2010). It was written by Queen and Hiram Cruz, produced by Cruz under his stage name Keko Musik and released as the second single from the album on September 24, 2010, following the release of "La Vida es Así, La Vida Es Así" and its respective bachata (music), bachata version. Lyrically, the song focuses on the true and pure meaning of love hence the title of the song. It was the last single released in promotion for the album, however the single was commercially unsuccessful. The music video for the song was filmed in Miami, Florida, under the direction of Marlon Peña. Martha Ivelisse Pesante Rodríguez (born March 4, 1972), known professionally as Ivy Queen, is a Puerto Rican singer, rapper, songwriter, and actress. She is considered one of the pioneers of the reggaeton genre, commonly referred to as the Queen of Reggaeton. Ivy Queen began her career as a member of the all-male collective The Noise in San Juan, Puerto Rico. There, she performed her first song "Somos Raperos Pero No Delincuentes" ''(We are Rappers, Not Delinquents)''. Ivy Queen went solo in 1996, and released her debut studio album '' En Mi Imperio (In My Empire)'' which was quickly picked up by Sony Discos for distribution in 1997.
