Amon Sur
Amon Sur is an alien supervillain in the DC Universe. He is the son of the Green Lantern Abin Sur and nephew of the villain/antihero Sinestro by marriage with Sur's sister Arin. Publication history Amon Sur first appeared in ''Green Arrow'' (vol. 3) #24 (June 2003) and was created by writers Judd Winick and Ben Raab, and artist Charlie Adlard. Fictional character biography Amon Sur first appeared in the storyline "Black Circle: Urban Knights," a bi-weekly crossover between ''Green Arrow'' (vol. 3) #23-25 and ''Green Lantern'' (vol. 3) #162-164. Amon Sur grew up to become the man in charge of the Black Circle crime syndicate. Amon was angry with his deceased father. He felt Abin had abandoned him in favor of the Green Lantern Corps and decided to take his anger out on all Green Lanterns. Hal Jordan
Harold "Hal" Jordan, one of the characters known as Green Lantern, is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created in 1959 by writer John Broome and artist Gil Kane, and first appeared in ''Showcase'' #22 (October 1959). Hal Jordan is a reinvention of the previous Green Lantern who appeared in 1940s comic books as the character Alan Scott. ''Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters'' is an action video game, the first based on DC Comics' Green Lantern (Hal Jordan). The game is a tie-in/sequel to the film '' Green Lantern'', which opened in theaters on June 17, 2011. The game features 3D visuals on the Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, providing TriOviz Inficolor 3D for standard televisions and stereoscopic 3D for dedicated 3DTVs. Gameplay ''Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters'' offers three different game modes. The player takes control of Hal Jordan and the power of his Green Lantern ring is at the player's disposal, in which weapons and objects can be created to defeat enemies and progress through levels. Indigo Tribe
The Indigo Tribe is a fictional organization that appears in DC Comics publications, primarily those of the ''Green Lantern'' series. In the DC Universe, it is one of the seven major groups known as the Corps of the emotional spectrum. The group was created by comic book writer Geoff Johns and comic book artist Ethan Van Sciver. It made its debut in the issue #25 of ''Green Lantern (comic book), Green Lantern'' (vol. 4) in December 2007. Background The Indigo Tribe is one of the nine Corps of the emotional spectrum within the DC Universe setting. Each "Emotional Spectrum" Corps has both a corresponding color of the rainbow and an emotional theme attached to it, with several of the Corps (e.g. the Green Lantern Corps and Red Lantern Corps) being named after their respective color; the Indigo Tribe, which is one of the Corps named after their associated color, uses indigo-light-powered rings and staffs.
