Amon Gordon
Amon Gordon (born October 13, 1981) is a former American football defensive end of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the fourth round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He played college football at Stanford Cardinal football, Stanford. Gordon has also been a member of the Denver Broncos, Baltimore Ravens, Tennessee Titans, Philadelphia Eagles, New England Patriots, and Seattle Seahawks. Early years Gordon attended Oak Harbor High School (Washington), Oak Harbor High School in Washington state where he was the only Freshman on the varsity football and basketball teams. Injured Reserve
The injured reserve list ( IR list) is a designation used in North American professional sports leagues for athletes who suffer injuries and become unable to play. The exact name of the list varies by league; it is known as "injured reserve" in the National Football League (NFL) and National Hockey League (NHL), the "injured list" in the Canadian Football League (CFL), and the injured list (historically known as the "disabled list") in Major League Baseball (MLB). The National Basketball Association (NBA) does not have a direct analog to an injured reserve list, instead using a more general-purpose "inactive list" that does not require a player to be injured. Practice Squad
In sports, the practice squad, also called the taxi squad or practice roster, is a group of players signed by a team but not part of their main roster. Frequently used in gridiron football, they serve as extra players during the team's practices, often as part of the scout team by emulating an upcoming opponent's play style. Because the players on the practice squad are familiar with the team's plays and formations, the practice squad serves as a way to develop inexperienced players for promotion to the main roster. Linebacker
Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen. Mariner High School is a public high school located in unincorporated Snohomish County, Washington, United States, just south of Everett. It opened on September 8, 1970, as the only high school serving the Mukilteo School District; it held this title until Kamiak High School opened in 1993. It currently serves grades 9 through 12.
