Amedeo Amodio
Amedeo Amodio (born 1940) is an Italian choreographer and former ballet dancer. Trained at the Teatro alla Scala where he performed notably with Carla Fracci, he was appointed artistic director of the Reggio Emilia based modern ballet company Aterballetto in 1979 and served in that role until 1996. Most recently, in 2003, he accepted a position as artistic director of the ballet company at Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Sicily. Early career Born in Milan in 1940, Amodio trained at the ballet school of the Teatro alla Scala, whose ranks he joined immediately. Florent Amodio (born 12 May 1990) is a French figure skating coach and former competitor. He is the 2011 European champion, a four-time French national champion (2010, 2013-2015), and the 2008 JGP Final champion. He has represented France at two Winter Olympics. Personal life Florent Amodio was born in Sobral, Ceará, Brazil. A French couple adopted him as an infant, along with his sister. He was raised in Fremainville, Val-d'Oise. He holds both French and Brazilian citizenship. In addition to competing, Amodio has also studied for a coaching diploma. Roberto Amodio (born 20 October 1961) is an Italian Director of football and a former footballer who played as a defender. Club career Amodio started his career with the Napoli junior team. After a brief stint in Serie C2 with Messina, he returned to S.S.C. Napoli and made his debut with them in Serie A in the 1981-82 season. In the summer of 1983 he was traded to Cavese in Serie B. His performances for Cavese caught the attention of several Serie A teams which led to his return to Serie A the following season, when he joined Avellino.
