Amman Baccalaureate School
The Amman Baccalaureate School (ABS) is a private, fee-paying school and nonprofit organization, licensed by the Jordanian Ministry of Education. It is a coeducational day school and prepares its students for the International Baccalaureate Diploma and Certificates as school-leaving qualifications. The school is situated on the west side of Amman in Jordan and was established in 1981 by the Hashemite Society for Education, a charitable society registered with the Ministry of Social Development. ABS' educational and administrative policies are set by the school's Board of Trustees, chaired by Princess Sarvath al-Hassan, with Princess Sumaya bint Hassan serving as Deputy Chair. Princess Sarvath Al-Hassan
Princess Sarvath al-Hassan (born Sarvath Ikramullah on 24 July 1947) is a Jordanian royal and the wife of Prince Hassan bin Talal of Jordan. She was born in Calcutta on 24 July 1947, to a prominent Muslim family of the Indian subcontinent. Family Her father, the Bhopal-born Ambassador Mohammed Ikramullah, was a senior member of the Indian Civil Service in the Government of British India prior to Partition. He went on to join the Partition Committee of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, later becoming Pakistan's first Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Ambassador to Canada, France, Portugal and the United Kingdom. His last post was as chairman of the Commonwealth Economic Committee. Prince Hashim Bin Hussein
Prince Hashim bin Hussein (born 10 June 1981) is the younger of the two sons of King Hussein and Queen Noor of Jordan. In her autobiography, Queen Noor states that Hashim was named after the clan of Hashim ( Banu Hashim), the tribe to which the Islamic prophet Muhammad and King Hussein belong.
