Amit Gilitwala
Amit Gilitwala (born 11 October 1995) is an Indian professional darts player who currently plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He is an Indian Champion and first player from India who played at the PDC World Youth Championship. He represented his country during the PDC World Cup of Darts, WDF World Cup and WDF Asia-Pacific Cup. His biggest achievement to date was a start in the 2021 PDC World Darts Championship. Career In 2011, Gilitwala won the Indian Championship few months after he start playing darts, by beat a Ankit Goenka in the final by 4–3 in legs. In the same year, he took part in the 2011 WDF World Cup taking part in youth competitions. In the singles competition, he was eliminated in the group-stage, after two losses against Jake Jones and Max Hopp. In the mixed pairs competition he played for India with Amita-Rani Ahir, but they lost in the group-stage. 2023 PDC World Cup Of Darts
The 2023 PDC World Cup of Darts, known as the My Diesel Claim World Cup of Darts for sponsorship reasons, was the thirteenth edition of the PDC World Cup of Darts. It took place from 15 to 18 June 2023 at the Eissporthalle in Frankfurt, Germany. The PDC World Darts Championship, known for sponsorship purposes as the Cazoo World Darts Championship, organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC), is a World Professional Darts Championship held annually in the sport of darts. The PDC championship begins in December and ends in January and is held at Alexandra Palace in London and has been held there since 2008. It is the most prestigious of the PDC's tournaments, with the winner receiving the Sid Waddell Trophy, named in honour of the darts commentator Sid Waddell, who died in 2012. Steve West (darts Player)
Steve West (born 5 June 1975) is an English darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) tournaments. He is the younger brother of 2003 World Master Tony West. BDO career West showed signs of a promising career quickly by reaching the final of the 2005 French Open, losing to local Dominique le Roy. He also reached the last 32 of the 2005 World Masters where he lost to Gary Anderson. In 2007, West reached another Open final in the 2007 Dutch Open, one of the BDO's biggest Open tournaments. Amongst his scalps were Dutchmen Co Stompé and Edwin Max before losing in the final to Scott Waites. Following this and three further quarter-finals, he qualified for the 2007 International Darts League, but was knocked out at the Preliminary Group Stage. Ronny Huybrechts (born 20 July 1965) is a former Belgian professional darts player. Career Ronny and his brother Kim Huybrechts became the first brothers to play in the World Cup of Darts in February 2013 and advanced from Group H courtesy of a 5–0 win over Hungary. They then pulled off a shock by defeating the Australian pairing of Simon Whitlock and Paul Nicholson, who were the runners up in the event last year, 5–1 with a combined average of 101.08 and then beat Croatia in the quarter-finals, with Ronny defeating Robert Marijanović 4–1 in his singles match. Kim Huybrechts
Kim Huybrechts (born 16 November 1985) is a Belgian professional darts player currently playing in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He made the final of a major TV event, the 2012 Players Championship Finals, losing to Phil Taylor 13-6, as well as making the final of the 2013 PDC World Cup of Darts with his brother Ronny. He has also achieved the perfect nine-dart finish on TV, doing so in the 2014 Grand Slam of Darts against Michael van Gerwen in the quarter-finals, and has appeared in the Premier League on two occasions. 2014 PDC World Cup Of Darts
The 2014 bwin World Cup of Darts was the fourth edition of the PDC World Cup of Darts which took place between 6–8 June 2014 at the Alsterdorfer Sporthalle in Hamburg, Germany.
