He was Nigerian Ambassador to the USA (1999–2003) and was elected Senator for Adamawa Central constituency of Adamawa State, Nigeria, taking office on 29 May 2003. Abdul Wahab "Alade" Aminu (born September 14, 1987) is a Nigerian-American professional basketball player who most recently played for Gigantes de Carolina of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN). Abdulmumini Aminu (born 1949) is a retired Nigerian army colonel, he was military governor of Borno State between August 1985 and August 1988 during the military regime of General Ibrahim Babangida. He later became chairman of the Nigeria Football Association, and then chairman of the West Africa Football Union.
