Goffredo Alessandrini
Goffredo Alessandrini (20 November 1904, in Cairo – 16 May 1978, in Rome) was an Italian scriptwriter and film director. He also acted, edited, and produced some films. He practiced athletics in his youth, and won a title of Italian champion on 110 meters hurdles in 1925. Biography He started in films collaborating with Alessandro Blasetti and was one of the most important film directors under Italian Fascism. His films received several awards at the Venice Film Festival during the Fascist era: the Mussolini Cup for Best Italian film in 1938, for ''Luciano Serra pilota'', and in 1939 for ''Abuna Messias''. He received the Biennale Award in 1942, for ''Noi Vivi'' and ''Addio Kira!'' His most remembered and important works are two anti-Communist films (combined to comprise 4 hours), both based on Ayn Rand's ''We the Living''. Assia Noris
Assia Noris (16 February 1912 – 27 January 1998) was a Russian-Italian film actress. Born Anastasia Noris fon Gerzfeld (Anastassia Noris von Herzfeld), she appeared in over 35 films between 1932 and 1965. She starred in films such as the Mario Mattoli 1936 film '' L' Uomo che sorride'' and ''Il signor Max'' (1937). She made several appearances alongside Vittorio De Sica when he was a young actor. She was married to the film directors Roberto Rossellini and Mario Camerini, appearing in several films made by the latter. Youssef Wahby
Youssef Abdallah Wahbi Qotb ( ar, يوسف عبد الله هديب وهبي قطب) (14 July 1902 – 17 October 1982) was an Egyptian stage and film actor and director, a leading star of the 1930s and 1940s and one of the most prominent Egyptian stage actors of any era, who also served on the jury of the Cannes Film Festival in 1946. He was born to a high state official in Egypt but renounced his family's wealth and traveled to Rome in the 1920s to study theatre. Rushdy Saiid El Bughdady Abaza ( arz, رشدي سعيد البوغدادي أباظة) (3 August 1926 – 27 July 1980) was an Egyptian film and television actor. He was considered one of the most charming actors in the Egyptian film industry. He died of brain cancer at the age of 53. Family Rushdy Abaza was born in Sharqia, Egypt, to Egyptian father, Said Abaza, belonging to one of Egypt's most well-known families, the Abaza family.
