American Samoa National Under-23 Football Team
The American Samoa national under-23 football team, also known as American Samoa U23, represents American Samoa at U23 tournaments. The team is considered to be the feeder team for the American Samoa national football team. They are controlled by the FFAS History American Samoa U23 made three appearances so far at the OFC U23 Championship. They never reached any further than the Group Stage. So far they also never won a game. They managed to score a total of four goals. Duane Atuelevao is with two goals the top scorer. He scored them in a 3-2 loss against the Cook Islands in 2004. Football Federation American Samoa (FFAS) is the governing body for competitive football in the nation of American Samoa. History It came into existence following inaugural elections held in late 2007. The new general secretariat took office under newly elected FFAS President Iuli Alex Godinet in the first elections for the national body since 2005. Clayton Lewis (footballer)
Clayton Rhys Lewis (born 12 February 1997 in Wellington) is a New Zealand professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Wellington Phoenix in the A-League. Club career Lewis attended St Patrick's College, Wellington from 2010 until 2014. He began his career with Wellington Olympic where he played alongside his father Barry. Lewis came into prominence in the 2013 winter season where he was a key member of the Wellington Olympic team which finished second in the Central Premier League and reached the semifinals of the Chatham Cup. ANZ National Stadium
The HFC Bank Stadium ( formally known as ANZ Stadium) is a multi-purpose stadium in Suva, Fiji. HFC Stadium is used primarily for rugby league, rugby union and football matches, and features a track as well as a pitch suitable for worldwide competition. It has undercover seating for 4,000 spectators, and concrete and grass embankments that increase the capacity to 15,000 people. Patrick Taroga (born 25 May 2000) is a Solomon Islands footballer who plays as a midfielder for Henderson Eels. Club career Taroga played in the youth of Marist under the guidance of Patrick Miniti. In 2017 he made his debut for the first team. After the Pacific Games in 2019, Taroga moved to the Henderson Eels. In December 2019 he was suspended by coach Eddie Marahare because he missed a game due to participation in a local island football competition. 2019 OFC Men's Olympic Qualifying Tournament
The 2019 OFC Men's Olympic Qualifying Tournament (also called the 2019 OFC U-23 Championship) was the eighth edition of the OFC Men's Olympic Qualifying Tournament, the quadrennial international age-restricted football championship organised by the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) for the men's under-23 national teams of Oceania. In November 2018, it was announced that Fiji would host the competition. The tournament was held from 21 September to 5 October 2019. The winner qualified as the OFC representative at the 2020 Summer Olympics men's football tournament in Japan. New Zealand won the title after defeating Solomon Islands in the final.
