JP Houston is an Canada-born American singer-songwriter, producer, storyteller, and host. Career Houston has a large catalogue of songs composed for television, theater, film and record. One of his first credits, while still in high school, was composing the theme song to the PBS/YTV children's series ''The Big Comfy Couch''. With hundreds of credits, he was nominated for a Gemini Award (Canadian Emmy) in 2001. His work has appeared on ''The Rosie O'Donnell Show'', ''Funny or Die Presents'', and countless other national and international productions. A song co-written by Houston was featured in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. He has written for PBS, BBC, HBO, CBC, and many others. Houston performs and records constantly. ''The Big Comfy Couch'' (''Le Monde de Loonette'' nglish: ''The World of Loonette'' or ''Loonette's World''when broadcast in Quebec, France and Belgium and ''El sofa da la imaginación'' nglish: ''The Couch of Imagination''when broadcast in Latin America and Spain) is a Canadian children's television series, which is about a clown named Loonette and her doll Molly who solve everyday problems on their eponymous couch. Band Of Horses
Band of Horses is an American rock band formed in 2004 in Seattle, Washington. Led by singer-songwriter Ben Bridwell, who has served as the band's sole constant member throughout numerous line-up changes, the band's current line-up also includes longtime members Creighton Barrett (drums) and Ryan Monroe (keyboards, guitar, backing vocals), alongside Matt Gentling (bass, backing vocals) and Brett Nash (guitar, backing vocals). KVCR (91.9 MHz) is an FM non-commercial public radio station in located San Bernardino, California, broadcasting to the Riverside-San Bernardino-Inland Empire area. It is owned by the San Bernardino Community College District, along with channel 24 KVCR-DT. Matthew Stephen Ward (born October 4, 1973) is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist from Portland, Oregon. Ward's solo work is a mixture of folk and blues-inspired Americana analog recordings; he has released ten studio albums since 1999, primarily through independent label Merge Records. In addition to his solo work, he is a member of indie pop duo She & Him and folk-rock supergroup Monsters of Folk, and also participates in recording, producing, and playing with multiple other artists. Victoria Williams (born December 23, 1958) is an American singer, songwriter and musician, originally from Shreveport, Louisiana, United States, although she has resided in Southern California throughout her musical career. Diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in the early 1990s, Williams was the catalyst for the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund. Biography Williams was born in Shreveport, Louisiana. The Gemini Awards were awards given by the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television between 1986–2011 to recognize the achievements of Canada's television industry. The Gemini Awards are analogous to the Emmy Awards given in the United States and the BAFTA Television Awards in the United Kingdom. First held in 1986 to replace the ACTRA Award, the ceremony celebrated Canadian television productions with awards in 87 categories, along with other special awards such as lifetime achievement awards. The Academy had previously presented the one-off Bijou Awards in 1981, inclusive of some television productions.
