America's Got Talent Season 2
The second season of American talent show competition series ''America's Got Talent'' was broadcast on NBC from June 5 to August 21, 2007. The network originally intended for it to run during its winter schedule that year, but opted against it following concerns over it clashing with other popular programs at that time. After the success of its first year, additional episodes of the series were commissioned by NBC, with changes being made to the program's format for the new season. The changes included the addition of a "boot camp" stage during the auditions, and the use of the judge's buzzers matching other editions of the ''Got Talent'' franchise, particularly after the first season of ''Britain's Got Talent''. While Piers Morgan and David Hasselhoff returned as judges, Regis Philbin did not return as host for the new season, and was replaced by tabloid talk show host Jerry Springer. Impressionist (entertainment)
An impressionist or a mimic is a performer whose act consists of imitating sounds, voices and mannerisms of celebrities and cartoon characters. The word usually refers to a professional comedian/entertainer who specializes in such performances and has developed a wide repertoire of impressions, including adding to them, often to keep pace with current events. Impressionist performances are a classic casino entertainment genre. Someone who imitates one particular person without claiming a wide range, such as a lookalike, is instead called an impersonator. In very broad contexts, "impersonator" may be substituted for "impressionist" where the distinction between the two is less important than avoiding confusion with the use of "impressionist" in painting and music. Kevin James (magician)
Kevin James (born April 28, 1962) is an American magician, known for creating several unique magical effects, such as the "Floating Rose" which is performed by David Copperfield. He had long-running performance runs at venues such as Crazy Horse (Paris) and Caesars Palace. He has won the "Parlour Magician of the Year" award from the Magic Castle and also appeared on the CBS television special, "World's Greatest Magicians at the Magic Castle". Julienne Irwin (born March 14, 1993) is an American singer from Bel Air, Maryland, United States. Irwin was a finalist on the second season of ''America's Got Talent''. Biography Prior to her ''America's Got Talent'' debut, Irwin has stated she has never performed publicly or received any vocal lessons. According to her bio on the NBC website, Irwin attended Harford Christian School where she was a cheerleader and became the class president.
