Ameer Kenneth Webb (born March 19, 1991) is an American Sprint (running), sprinter specializing in the 100 metres, 100 m and 200 metres, 200 m. College career At Texas A&M Webb was the 200 meter champion at the 2013 NCAA Men's Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships and the 2013 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Prior to Texas A&M he ran for Cerritos College, where he was the 2011 California Community College Athletic Association, CCCAA State Champion in both the 100 meters and 200 meters. He had run for Tustin High School, finishing fifth in the 200 meters at the 2009 CIF California State Meet behind Randall Carroll's sweep of both sprinting events. Cerritos College
Cerritos College is a public community college in Norwalk, California. It offers degrees and certificates in 87 areas of study in nine divisions. History The college was founded in 1955. It was named after Rancho Los Cerritos, a local ranch in the 19th century. In turn the college was part of the inspiration for the renaming of the neighboring city of Dairy Valley to Cerritos. The district covers Artesia, Bellflower, Cerritos, Downey, Norwalk, La Mirada, and Hawaiian Gardens. Originally, classrooms were rented in the now defunct Excelsior High School in September 1956. On July 24, 1957, the Cerritos Junior College District won the case against Dairy Valley (now Cerritos) to use the undeveloped land as an educational site. 2017 USA Outdoor Track And Field Championships
The 2017 USA Track and Field Outdoor Championships were held at Hornet Stadium on the campus of California State University, Sacramento in Sacramento, California. Organized by USA Track & Field, the four-day competition took place June 22–25 and served as the national championships in track and field for the United States. The event was held in conjunction with the USA Track & Field Junior Outdoor Championships. The 50 kilometers race walk was held January 28 at Santee, California. While no men were able to make the 4:06 qualifying standard, two women were able to achieve their 4:30 qualifying time, with Katie Burnett walking faster than the second place man. The other qualifier was former world record holder Erin Taylor-Talcott. 2017 is the first year the women will be allowed to race that distance at the world championships. The men's 200 metres event at the 2016 Summer Olympics took place between 16–18 August in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, at the Estádio Olímpico João Havelange. There were 77 competitors from 48 nations. Nickel Ashmeade (born 7 April 1990) is a Jamaican sprinter who specialises in the 100 and 200 meters. Nickel Ashmeade ran the third leg for Jamaica's 4 × 100 m team at the 2013 World Championships in Moscow which won the gold medal. Konstantinos "Kostas" Kenteris, also spelled as Konstadinos "Costas" Kederis ( el, Κωνσταντίνος "Κώστας" Κεντέρης ; born July 11 1973) is a Greek former athlete. John Capel
John Capel Jr. (born October 27, 1978) is an American former track and field athlete who was a world champion sprinter. Capel played college football for the University of Florida, where he was also a member of the Florida Gators track and field team. Early years Capel attended Hernando High School, while there he was considered one of the nation's top wide receivers and was also one of the nation's top prep sprinters (winning the 100 and 200 meters at the prestigious National Scholastic Championships in the summer of 1997). The Doha Diamond League is an annual one-day track and field meeting held at the Suheim bin Hamad Stadium in Doha, Qatar. It is part of the Diamond League – the top level international circuit for the sport. It is typically held in May as the first leg of the Diamond League series. It was first organized in 1997 as the Doha Grand Prix as a men's only programme before adding women's events the following year. The competition gained IAAF Grand Prix II status for its second edition in 1998, then Grand Prix I status in 1999, and became one of the five IAAF Super Grand Prix events in 2004. The 2014 IAAF World Relays were held in May 2014 in Nassau, Bahamas. The event was the first edition of the IAAF World Relays. There were five events for each gender. In men's and women's 4 x 100 metres and 4 x 400 metres, the event served as a qualification event for the 2015 World Championships in Athletics. Ronald Keith Ryan Hillman Jr. (September 14, 1991 – December 21, 2022) was an American professional football player who was a running back in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the San Diego State Aztecs, earning third-team All-American honors as a sophomore in 2011. Randall Carroll (born April 13, 1991) is a former American football wide receiver and defensive back. He attended the University of California, Los Angeles, having played for the UCLA Bruins from 2009 to 2011, but being dismissed for academic reasons. High school career Carroll attended Cathedral High School in Los Angeles, California, where he played running back, cornerback and wide receiver. In his senior year, he totaled 31 catches for 564 yards and four touchdowns, and also carried the ball 73 times for 543 rushing yards and two scores.
